Turmeric and its extracts (including curcumin) are well known for being poorly absorbed. CurcuWIN® found in Nutrigold’s Curcumin product contains turmeric (Curcuma longa) root extract, concentrated to a minimum of 20% bioactive curcuminoids. The UltraSOL Nutrient Delivery System increases relative absorption of total curcuminoids over standard curcumin by 46-times, with studies demonstrating higher concentrations in blood serum in volunteers who took CurcuWIN® after 12 hours. Importantly, the curcuminoids are preserved in the same profile as found naturally in turmeric.
